The purpose of PAC is to be a liaison to the general populace, promoting the general welfare of the community and advocating for public safety issues. The charge of the committee is to promote communication and education between the community and its police department.

In 2004, Chief Wickman established the Police Advisory Committee (PAC). Community programs are of paramount importance to the Frisco Police Department. As part of our community policing philosophy, we strive to strengthen and support police-community partnerships.

PAC advises and make recommendations to the Town Manager, Town Council, and Chief of Police concerning the provision of police protection and services within the town. The group encourages individuals and community groups to proactively assist the Police Department in the implementation of public safety programs and services.

PAC consists of seven members who are residents of the Town of Frisco.

The committee holds at least four regular meetings in each year and usually meets bimonthly. Members serve two-year terms.
