The purpose of FROST is to promote the acquisition, preservation and enhancement of new and existing open space areas, trails, parks, and recreational facilities and opportunities. In service of the Town Council’s adopted goals, FROST reviews and makes recommendations to the Town Council on matters related to recreation, open space, parks and trails in the town and within three miles of the Frisco community, including the Ten Mile Canyon area to Copper Mountain.

FROST consists of seven (7) members. Five (5) members of the Committee must be residents of the Town of Frisco, and two (2) members may reside within one mile of the town limits.

The committee holds at least four (4) regular meetings in each year, usually on the 3rd Wednesdays of the month at 6:00 p.m.Members serve two-year terms.
