The purpose of EDAC is to be an advisor to the Town Council relative to economic activities associated with the long-term economic sustainability and quality of life of the residents of Frisco as requested by the Town Council and in service of the Town Council’s goals as adopted from time to time.

The committee consists of seven (7) members who must live in town or within one mile of town limits, own or lease property in town or manage or own a Frisco business. Council will strive to select a diverse membership with backgrounds in, but not limited to, the following: retail and commercial; education; financial; telecommunication; recreation; tourism; and construction.

EDAC holds at least four (4) regular meetings in each year, usually the last Wednesdays of the month from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. Members serve two-year terms.

EDAC's role is to serve as an advisory group to Town Council on economic activities associated with the long-term economic sustainability of the Town.

Members of the Committee are bona fide residents or owners or lessees of real property within one mile of the Town of Frisco.
