The Solutions
Ideally to sustain the Frisco community, the town needs a mix of housing to support current and future residents as their needs and conditions change; and, the town also needs a balance of housing that is affordable and suitable for different employment levels.
Yet, there is not one magical solution to solving Frisco’s affordable housing need and ensuring Frisco’s livability as a community. Earlier this year, the Frisco Town Council directed staff to begin working on all of the following housing strategies listed below. The below opportunities include incentives and regulations governing private development, as well as for the creation of public/private partnerships. Please click on each topic to find out more details on what the town is doing with respect to each housing opportunity.
