Experience Frisco, Colorado’s distinctive mountain charm this holiday season. Stroll among holiday decorations and Frisco’s one-of-a-kind shops offering unique Colorado gifts while sipping a steaming cup of warm Wassail (Old English apple cider) on Frisco’s charming Main Street and Summit Blvd. As you walk around town you will hear the sounds of carolers singing and holiday cheer.
Participating merchants will compete for the Frisco Wassail Day Cup based on your vote! Secret ingredients from red chili powder, jalapeno to nutmeg have been known to be added to some recipes! Who will win the top honor of 2014 Frisco Wassail Champion?
Wassail Days is filled with family photo opportunities around each corner, from the Holiday lighting display at the Triangle Park to the Russian Horse drawn sleigh at the gazebo. Make Frisco your picturesque backdrop and share it with us on Facebook!
Incorporated into the event in 2013 were the “12 Sips of Wassail” stamp cards encouraging you and yours to wander around to any of the 70 participating merchants and try their wassail. Folks got their cards stamped and redeemed a filled card at the Information Center for a free souvenir mug while supplies last. Get ready for the 2014 “12 Sips of Wassail”!
