Oktoberfest Frisco is hosted by Andy’s Kitchen and the Summit Concert Band.  This is the second year for the event and it should be a terrific time for all.

September 2 will kick off the event with the Polkanauts-a live music show that starts at 6 p.m.

This event is located at the Frisco Peninsula Recreation Area by the Nordic Center building.

September 3-4 will include festivities starting at noon and running until 10 p.m.

Each day will be filled with plenty of entertainment including:

Liter Mug Holding
Leg Wrestling
Nail Driving competition
Parking is limited so bring a friend and carpool.

Many people have enjoyed Andy’s Austrian cuisine at events and festivals across the state.  Brats, Schnitzel, kraut and more are especially tasty when enjoyed at an authentic Oktoberfest atmosphere.  A little German beer and a polka or two will make you feel as if you were on a European vacation.

The Summit Concert Band will be the non-profit beneficiary for the 2010 Oktoberfest.  The band has been performing at Oktoberfests for the last 6 years.  It is traditional for the town band to kick off the festivities.  The Summit Concert Band has opened the day for Breckenridge, Frisco and Denver Oktoberfests.
