August 6^th, 2011 – Frisco Bay Marina – Beach attire was in full force last weekend during Frisco’s first Sandcastle competition and attracted over 60 kids from Summit County, Nebraska, Kansas and Texas.  The weather was perfect for ice cream sandwiches from the Island Grill and every contestant got just that!  We saw some really creative sandcastles on the beach and it was a challenge finding the winners.

Age Division 2-6:

1^st place – Team Goofy Goobers

2^nd place – Team Horse Castle

3^rd place – Team Diva  .

Age Division 7-12:

1^st place – Team Shark Attack

2^nd place – Team Tie Die

3^rd place – Team Castle Rock    .

And the overall 1^st place winner was Team Pirates Cove Castaways!
