Town Clean Up Day & Appreciation Party

The Town of Frisco is preparing for our annual Town Clean Up Day coming up May 18, 2013!

2013 Information:

Join the Town of Frisco in participating in Summit County’s 2013 Clean Up Day as we clean the streets of Frisco after the snow melts – and get a free lunch and concert at a gathering after the cleaning session as a “Thank You” for your efforts.

THE LOWDOWN: Meet on Main Street between 1st Avenue & 2nd Avenue outside of the Frisco Historic Park & Museum.  Street address is: 120 Main Street Frisco, CO  80443.  There will be a check-in table beginning at 9:00 a.m. to pick up compostable canvas gloves, orange bags and receive area assignments.  Participants will also receive a lunch ticket, 2 beverage tickets (beer provided for those 21 and over only) and a raffle ticket.  Donuts and coffee will be available upon check-in for a light snack before people head out.

TIPS: Wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty, and comfortable walking shoes.

COMMUNITY PHOTO: Wear your best smile at 9:00 a.m. before you grab your cleaning supplies as we get our 2013 Frisco Community Photo taken!

ZERO WASTE PICNIC LUNCH: All utensils and food are compostable – so there will be minimal waste going to the landfill after this event.  Frisco strives to be environmentally friendly with our events and walks the walk with our Zero Waste Picnic Lunch as a “Thank You” to our locals and visitors who participated in the day’s cleaning activities.  Kory Brunson will be providing live music, Town Council members serving up the food!

RAFFLE: Starting at 12:30 p.m., several local businesses have been kind enough to donate some amazing gift certificates and prizes to be raffled off at the event as a “Thank You” to the lucky winners!

Think you picked up the “Grossest”, “Most Unique” or “Most Valuable” item in Frisco on Clean-Up Day in 2013?  Hang on to it (if you can stand it) and submit it to see if you win a special prize from Peak One Neighborhood!
