Frisco makes everyone feel like a local with fun Community Events!
If interested in volunteering for these Community Events or elsewhere for the Town, check out the new Town of Frisco Volunteer Program.
Halloween consists of a Haunted House organized and executed by ARBY (Activities Run by Youth), an arm of the Mountain Mentors organization helping young adults learn life and business skills in Summit County. We can’t forget Trick-or-Treat on Main Street for Halloween. Main Street in Frisco shuts down to motorized traffic from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. for a safe Trick-or-Treat experience for local youth.
The annual Easter Egg Hunt in Frisco usually consists of about 5,000 eggs and is appropriate for kids under the age of 8. Copper Mountain, Frisco’s closest Mountain Resort holds the largest Easter Egg Hunt in the state with 50,000 eggs and is appropriate for all ages! The Easter Egg Hunt takes place at Town Hall at 1 Main Street and the Frisco Historic Park & Museum at 120 Main Street.
Each Spring, the Town of Frisco participates in Summit County’s Clean-Up Day. Usually beginning at 9:00 a.m., volunteers pick up their bags and hit the streets to clean up our Town after the snow has melted. As a thank you, the Town usually holds a raffle and picnic for volunteers to show our appreciation!
Each Spring, the Frisco Historic Park & Museum holds its annual open house. Join us for drinks, food, live music, good company and a tour of the historic Museum and outer buildings like you’ve never seen before! All ages welcome. For more information please contac the Frisco Historic Park & Museum at 970-668-3428 or visit www.friscohistoricpark.com.
