As the snow falls in Frisco, the Frisco BBQ Challenge continues to think warm thoughts for the upcoming summer. The 17th Annual Colorado BBQ Challenge will rise again, June 17 – 19, 2010. The Kansas City Barbecue Society sanctioned event provides state championship honors and brings more than 60 teams from Kansas to California for one smokin good time. The BBQ Challenge has something for everyone from live entertainment, games for kids, cooking demos, pig races, and of course eating Barbecue ’till your heart’s content – so catch “Barbecue Fever” in Frisco – BBQ with altitude.

The Colorado BBQ Challenge has filled both its selling and non-selling spots, however any interested teams are encouraged to apply to be included on the waitlist.

Be a Judge!
Love BBQ but hate to cook? Why not put your palate to the test and become a Certified BBQ Judge. KCBS judges’ school will be held June 17, 2010 from 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Applications for judges’ school and the challenge are available at http:judgebbq.com . The Colorado BBQ Challenge is a Frisco Main Street event that attracts over 30,000 visitors to Town. The event is advertised throughout Colorado on television, radio and print.
