On Friday, July 4, 2014, Frisco is hosting a full day of Independence Day celebrations. The day will begin at 7:30 a.m. with a pancake breakfast hosted
by Team Summit and will end with a fireworks display over Dillon Reservoir beginning at 9:30 p.m. It is recommended that guests park once and enjoy the day on foot as everything is within walking distance.
“The best part of the 4th is that the community clearly expresses their passion for this celebration- especially during the parade. Chairs make their appearance along the parade route on Main Street early am, kids flock with their bikes to be in the parade, floats are decorated to the hilt and people
make a day of it. It is pure Americana at its most authentic and joyous expression. Plain and simple- it’s good stuff,” stated Nora Gilbertson Frisco Events Manager.
Plan to line Frisco’s Main Street for that authentic, small town parade that will begin at 12:30 p.m. Cash prizes and trophies will be awarded for several categories of parade floats. Those who wish to join the parade must fill out an application and waiver. The parade application is available online here.
Join us for a great music line-up and concerts that will have you dancing in the streets in the afternoon and into the evening!
