Plan Submittal Requirements
Two (2) complete sets of plans must be submitted with all building permit applications. The plans should be of sufficient detail to allow construction without any further information being required from the designer. Plans should be drawn to an acceptable, approved, architectural scale and dimensioned.
Plans submitted for additions, alterations, and similar small-scale projects will not require the amount of information as listed in the checklists for new buildings. Plans for these smaller scale projects, however, should provide the applicable plans and details as listed in the complete building checklists.
Submittals for certain small-scale projects for detached single-family residences may use the Residential Building Guides (located in the "Related Documents" section of the Building Department's main page) offered by the Town of Frisco. The guides include sample plan drawings and details that the permit applicant can use as a basic plan submittal by providing information on dimensions and materials.
