Additional Building Department Forms
Permit Application Form
Can be printed, completed by the applicant, and submitted with required plans. The applicant must provide all information on the property, the property owner, and the contractor. The applicant must also provide a brief description of the proposed project and the estimated valuation for the project. The valuation should be based on the contract bid for performing the work in the description and should include all materials, labor, overhead, and profit. The same form is used for all building permit, mechanical permit, and plumbing permit applications (although a separate copy must be submitted for each separate permit). Electrical Permit Application Form
All electrical permits for the Town of Frisco are issued by the Summit County Building Inspection Division and application forms for electrical permits must be obtained from that office. The Summit County Building Inspection Division offices are located in the County Commons on the south side of Frisco at 0037 County Road 1005, telephone number (970) 668-3170.
Residential Energy Efficiency Code Worksheet
Can be printed and completed by the designer to demonstrate compliance with the Frisco Residential Energy Efficiency Code. The qualifying points for each selected option can be entered on the worksheet, the points added up on the worksheet, the worksheet signed by the designer, and the worksheet submitted with the application and plans. The submitted plans must include details and specifications that correspond with all point values used on the worksheet. Download here.
Energy Efficiency Codes Certificate of Compliance: Residential
Can be printed and completed by the designer to demonstrate compliance with the energy compliance requirements referenced in the International Residential Code, including the Residential Energy Efficiency Code. The designer must complete the fields for compliance method used, component areas, frame types, insulation values, fenestration areas and u-values, heating systems, and water heating systems. The Certificate of Compliance must signed by the designer, and the certificate submitted with the application and plans. The submitted plans must include details and specifications that correspond with all values specified on the certificate. Download here.
