Frisco Historic Park 30th Anniversary Party, Pistols and Pearls Event to Showcase History and the Flavors of Frisco
The Frisco Historic Park invites everyone to celebrate Frisco’s history at the 30th Anniversary Party, Pistols and Pearls on May 31, 2013, from 5 – 9 p.m.. This elegant event combines the beauty of the Frisco Historic Park, with tastes of the Town in an evening to raise funds for historic preservation. Enjoy sumptuous wines, sample small gourmet plates, dance to live entertainment as you stroll through the museum and historic buildings.
Frisco was born from the convergence of ranching and mining as a center point for commerce. Pistols shaped the town as bartenders and poker games gave Frisco its reputation. Now, over a hundred years later, Frisco is still the hub bringing in a mix of colorful characters to our Town of opportunity. Step back in time, adorn your pearls and play a part in Frisco’s rich heritage.
This special fundraising event will begin at 5 p.m. Explore the Historic Park as you sample whiskey, wine, and craft beers and nosh on decadent cuisine. Then swing into the sounds of Ragtime Trio. The evening will wrap up with a champagne toast and dessert served in the Museum. Dress to impress or get into character and dress in period costume from the early mining days to the 1950’s.
