Love BBQ, but hate to cook? Put your taste buds to the test and register today to judge the 2008 contest . Kansas City Certified Judges will be given first priority. Not yet KCBS certified or need to renew? Sign up today for the Certified Judges School scheduled for June 12, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. in Frisco. Class is $60 for non-KCBS members and $35 for KCBS members.

Please return applications by May 1, 2008. Judging spots will be filled according to the priority.

There are two ways to sign up as a judge.

This year we will give priority for judging the contest to the following:

  1. KCBS certified judges
  2. Students of the KCBS Judging School Thursday, June 12, 2008.
  3. Judges willing to judge both Friday and Saturday
  4. Non-KCBS certified folks who have judged our contest before.
