Frisco BBQ Challenge
Thank you for a smokin’ good time!
The 15th annual Frisco, Colorado BBQ Challenge hosted over 54 BBQ teams and 29 vendors for a full street of meats and treats. Teams from Kansas to Texas served up BBQ to over 20,000 visitors while competing for Kansas City Barbecue Society bragging rights. For a complete list of KCBS standings, click here.
Thanks to over 230 volunteers and 20 sponsors for helping raise over $60,000 for our non profit partners. The Frisco Chamber of Commerce and Summit County Restaurant Association fund business advocacy and marketing programs. In addition over 10 youth non- profits raise money at the BBQ challenge to fund programs such as ProStart a culinary program, cheerleading camps and Rotary scholarships. Thank you to our local non- profits for investing in our youth.
The 16th Annual Frisco, Colorado BBQ Challenge heats up Main Street June 19 & 20, 2009.
BBQ Team and Judges Applications will be available October 2009.
