The activities in the winter are numerous for those who want snow action, as well as for those who just want to sip hot cocoa and watch the snow fall. With events like Wassail Days and Gold Rush, who can resist?

The Frisco Adventure Park features a multi-lane tubing hill, beginner ski/snowboard hill, ski/snowboard lessons, and a day lodge facility! Reservations are highly recommended for tubing. Visit www.FriscoTubing.com or call (970) 668-2558.
Frisco is centrally located to Summit County’s four ski resorts, the closest being Copper Mountain Resort. If you don’t feel like leaving Frisco, you can snowshoe the various trails around town, take your own sled to a sledding hill, or visit the Nordic Center where you can cross country ski, snowshoe and take lessons. Frisco is also a central location for pick up with companies that will take you snowmobiling or dog sledding.

Be sure to wander past the free Historic Park & Museum to get out of the cold and be transported back in time! If you are wanting to continue your shopping adventure you can take a free Summit Stage bus to the Outlets at Silverthorne, which is the next exit east of Frisco on Interstate 70. Other indoor activities in the area include a gold mine tour, movie theater, glassblowing demonstrations, and a bowling alley. To finish your day of relaxing and discovering other winter adventures, go on a dinner sleigh ride on the scenic Frisco Peninsula with Two Below Zero where you will be whisked away on a sled pulled by draft mules with their jingle bells ringing in the air. The live entertainment is fun and the food is great!
