No School Day Camp for Youth Ages 5-12

Winter Vacation Sensation (WVS) is an exciting and adventurous way for your kids to spend no-school days in Summit County! Each day of camp, we will focus on themed activities that offer educational opportunities and activities for the kids.  WVS is a state licensed day camp program offering experienced camp counselors, low child to counselor ratios, and access to the great recreation amenities provided by the Town of Frisco!

January 2-4, 7, 2013

February 25-March 1, 2013

April 15-19, 2013

Rates per day:  Frisco Residents: $40

Non-residents: $45

Time: Camp will run from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., camper drop off is between 8:00 a.m.-8:45 a.m. and pick up is between 4:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Location: 110 3rd Ave, Frisco (on the corner of 3rd and Granite)

Registration:   Opens at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, November 1st for 2012-2013 Winter Vacation Sensation click here to register online for 2012-2013 Winter Vacation Sensation.  You can also call or stop by the Frisco Day Lodge, 621 Recreation Way, 970-668-2558.

Space is limited for WVS; we encourage you to pre-regsiter for the program.  We are a state licensed program and have some mandatory paperwork that is required to be submitted prior to your child attending our program.  Mandatory paperwork includes: Registration Form, Waiver Packet  and a copy of your child’s immunization record.  Your child will NOT be able to attend camp unless all mandatory paperwork is turned at least a week prior to your child’s first day of camp.  IF you submitted your mandatory paperwork for 2012 Frisco Fun Club, your paperwork is valid until June 1, 2013.  Please contact Linsey Kach, recreation programs manager to ensure you have your paperwork complete; linseyk@townoffrisco.com

Special Needs:  Parents of campers with any special need must contact the Recreation Programs Manager at (970) 668-9133 or Linseyk@townoffrisco.com at least ten days in advance of their child attends a Town of Frisco Recreation Program.  The Recreation Programs Manager and Recreation Programs Lead will ask to set up a time to meet and discuss what reasonable accommodations can be made for the camper.

What to Bring to Camp:  Please send your camper with a bag or backpack containing the following labeled items:

  • Closed toed shoes
  • Snow Boots
  • Snow Pants
  • Warm Jacket
  • Gloves & Beanie
  • Water Bottle
  • Sun Hat/Sunglasses
  • Sack Lunch (no refrigerator is available to keep lunches cold)
  • 2 Snacks
  • Sunblock
  • Extra Clothing if your child may need it
